Oat Hill Farm Boarding Kennels are a friendly family run kennels with 24 years experience of caring for the dogs in your life. We are dedicated to the well-being of your dog's and our aim is to try to make their stay with us a pleasant and stress free experience. OUR
SERVICES
VACCINATIONS
We require all out dogs to be fully vaccinated and ask customers to bring their vaccination records with them. If we are unable to see an up to date record on arrival we will ask permission to check with your vet.
BOARDING
We provide single and family kennels all individually heated with outside runs. we understand how difficult it is to leave your dog behind and in somebody else's care and welcome you to come and view our facilities and have a friendly chat with us. We are able to care for you dog for short or longer term stays and also offer a Day Care facility.
Field Hire
We have a fully secure large paddock for hire with play and agility equipment. Please contact us on social media or Tel: 07585706568 to book your session.
EXERCISE
All our boarders are exercised at least twice daily on individual walks and we also have a large secure pen area where dogs are able to be exercised safely off the lead. Oat Hill is situated in beautiful country side with a 5 acre field and adjoining tarmac bridleway allowing us to exercise no matter how bad the weather.
FEED REQUIREMENTS
We like to keep your dogs diet and routine the same or very similar to yours at home and offer a very wide range of both dry and wet feeds or if you prefer we allow you to bring your own. We follow owners requirements and don't charge extra for administration of medication. Customers can also buy their dog feed from us ,we buy all our feed in bulk and offer great discount.
EMERGENCY CARE
We would contact your own vets first but also have our own on call vet in case of emergencies.

ABOUT US
Oat Hill Farm is a family run boarding kennels set in 5 acres of country side, located 1 mile West of Great Stainton towards Newton Aycliffe, Co Durham. We are a purpose built kennels with boarding for 35 dogs and pride ourselves in personally knowing our dogs and owners; and over the years many have become close friends.
Oat Hill Farm Boarding Kennels was established in 2000, and is currently managed by Paul and Sarah Blyth. The initial ethos when the business was established was that we wanted to provide boarding, where customers were happy to leave their dogs knowing they were safe and being cared for as if they were at home.
